RULES AND POLICIES

 CLASS ATTIRE:

The suggested class attire for girls is a leotard or body suit (no snaps), brief (required for ages 9 & up), with bare legs.  Long hair must be tied back and out of the face.  No jewelry should be worn to class.  Boys should wear gym shorts and a t-shirt.  Please do not send your child to gymnastics class dressed in tight fitting shorts or pants with belts, pockets, and zippers.  Not only is this clothing uncomfortable, but also it can be damaging to the equipment and dangerous to the student and spotter.  During the cold months, please wear a warm-up over your leotard or shorts.

SAFETY RULES:

Students should plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to class.  This should give them ample time to get dressed and report for warm-ups.  If a student misses warm-ups, injuries could occur.  Students are not permitted on the equipment unless they are with an instructor.  Please stay out of the work out area until your class starts.  Gum chewing is not allowed, as it can be dangerous during upside-down activities.

PARENT CONDUCT:

Parents ARE NOT permitted into the gym work out area unless participating with a Mom & Me class.  Instructors may invite parents to accompany their child out on the floor or sit nearby.  This is ONLY at the discretion of the instructor or other gym staff.  DO NOT DISTRACT YOUR CHILD OR OTHER MEMBERS OF THE CLASS BY CALLING OR WAVING WHILE CLASS IS IN PROGRESS.  Every student’s attention should be with the instructor.  This is for safety as well as courtesy.  There is time for parental praise after class.  You are welcome to observe all classes from the observation area.  DO NOT SIT in the student waiting area.  This is also a safety concern for the gym.

SIBLINGS:

Siblings are welcome at Maximum WITH parental supervision.  Siblings MAY NOT be dropped off with a student that has a class.  We cannot and are not equipped to baby-sit brothers and sisters of our students.  If it is reported that a sibling has been dropped off, we will have the student taken from class to supervise their brother or sister until the parent returns.

STUDENT DROP OFF:

Students MAY NOT be dropped off any earlier than 10 minutes prior to their class and picked up no later than 10 minutes after their class.  Students are also not permitted to wait outside after class for their ride.  Please emphasize to your child the importance of this rule. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

PAYMENT DUE DATE:

Tuition is due by the 7^th of each month.  If you choose to pay after the 7^th, there will be a $15.00 late fee charged to your account.

LOST AND FOUND:

We have a designated place in the gym for lost and found articles.  Check periodically for items your child may have left behind.  Any items left after a 1-month period will be donated to local charities.

PARKING:

Parking directly in front of the gym is not permissible.  It is used for drop off/pick up purposes only.  This is for the safety of your children as well as others.
