At Maximum Athletic Center we have the most qualified staff in the Conroe/Woodlands area! Not only does our staff have extensive knowledge in the sport, four of our coaches are certified teachers in the state of Texas!!!
Derrick Atherton

Kristen Dutka

Accomplishments: Being chosen to sing the National Anthem at the 2008 & 2009 Visa Gymnastics Championships
Hobbies: Singing, Bicycle Riding - 500 miles across Iowa! Spending time with my family.
Frank Markos

Mike Dutka
Position: Assistant Gym Director, Team Instructor, Developmental Instructor
Coaching Experience: 10 years. Mike has coached 6 National Team members including Jonathan Horton, and 6 of his athletes have received scholarships.

Accomplishments: 1993 & 1996 National Champion, National Team Member for 10 years, 1997 World Championships team member, 1998 Pan American team silver medalist, 1997 Big Ten Freshman of the year for Penn State, 1998 Big Ten All Around, Floor, Pommel Horse, and Vault Champion. 2000 Olympic Trials Qualifier.
Education: Full scholarship to Penn State.
Hobbies: Watching football, fishing, going to the lake house, playing with Dawkins, fishing, fishing......
Amber Prather
Position: Preschool Director

Education: 4 Year Gymnastics scholarship to LSU
Accomplishments: 1989 - Best of the West Champion, Elite gymnast for 4 years Qualifying to US and American Classic Nationals, 2 time letter winner, 1992 ranked 13th in Nationals, 1992 ranked 8th in southeastern conference, coached National, Regional, and State Champions. Coaching World, National and TOPS National team members. I owned and managed Texas Elite Gymnastics in Mesquite, Texas.
Hobbies: Spending time with my two daughters Harleigh and Addison.
